Second round of pins are in! Here's another set of previews.



Leaf sheep. I got it in three metals because I couldn't decide. The top is the default, which is a copper/rose gold finish. Below is the silver and gold, but they don't pop as much. If you passionately would prefer silver or gold, just leave a comment on this post, I can make a note on your order for you.

Blue sea dragon. They did such a good job on all the details, and the line weights. It looks great.


Torch Flabellina. This one has a brass finish, which is a really bright gold. I think it elevated the design a lot, it looks better than the digital version.


Flabellina. Its really hard to photograph this one, but it came out really well. Again they did such a good job on all the tiny details. 

Elegans. Its so hard to photograph these, but they've come out really well. The polished metal segments are where the posts are welded on the back. 

These are the backing cards. The borders and lettering are a subtle metallic finish. We went with square because so made of the designs are more rounded or horizontal, the portrait business cards looked weird. 

That's it for now. The last manufacturer has some production delays, so not sure how long that will be, but everything is on order so now we just... Wait :).

FACTORY SNEAK PEEK

I'm so glad I caved and ordered the orange ones too. The factory really understood the brief with these, they look fabulous.

Okay! First lot of pins that have arrived;


Cyerce Nigricans. Top is the alt version, bottom is the default version. The dual plating did not work out, so we have hard enamel with a screen print effect. 

Bonus pics, the fancy version of the sticker. Its hot stamped with gold foil, the sticker is very thick. Its nearly impossible to get a picture that shows both the lovely print colour and the shiny gold. Its much more impressive in real life. 

Next up is the rainbow sea bunny. This was by far our most purchased add-on, nearly half of you bought one (thank you!). They came out so good. Each one is different due to the metal plating process that's used.



Gold plated sea bunny. Simple but classy in my opinion. But I may be biased.



The sticker books look great, the prints are nice and crisp. The frosted covers are a really nice touch too. 

The spiral notebooks too are pretty mint. They have a lot of pages for spiral notebooks too. Paper is nice quality, not the thin cheap stuff too. 

The leatherettes are... Fine. (The print isn't blurry, its the texture of the cover). Not my favourite.



Sticker effects. So for the fancy stickers we're going with glow in the dark for Cyerce Elegans (all three colours). Nigricans you can see above, with the hot stamped foil. Then the rest are split between matte holo and brushed gold. We tried out tracing paper and washi paper and pearl paper options, but honestly they weren't all that impressive in comparison. The stickers have been designed with transparent and semi transparent areas to show off the effects to their full potential. Default stickers are matte clear vinyl with no special effects. All stickers got upgraded to 3" size because this place measures them differently and we were getting some that were really too small overall. 

These are just some examples from the test batch I ordered. They'll be in some of the mystery bags, if you chose to include other campaigns and holo effects :).

That was all the good stuff so far. The next batch of pins is already on its way, which includes hopefully the glow in the dark and the leaf sheep pins. I will keep you updated :).

I totally forgot I said I was going to preview the stickers first. 

Behind the scenes we had an issue with the manufacturer that meant we had to reorder a whole batch of the pins, so I went ahead with locking the orders and the card charges, ready to pay the remaining balance on the new order. In the middle of sorting that out I completely forgot that I hadn't done the sticker update yet. 

Unfortunately, I can't unlock orders. But I can alter everything manually on my end. So if you want to switch anything out, you can email support and I'll do it for you. The pre order store is also still open; if you wanted to add anything then you can order it and I'll refund you the shipping so you don't pay twice. Please don't hesitate to contact me... I will fix it for you. 

This was my first really big project but I've worked really hard to make sure things like this didn't happen. I'm sorry. 

Some of the test stickers and the first batch of pins did arrive yesterday; I'll make a post sometime this week with some pictures. The stickers aren't what I wanted so we're probably just going to go with holo/foiling options from Stickerapp, with one really awesome exception; we did a hot stamp foil version of Cyerce Nigricans. 

The production for this campaign has been... Messy. For some reason we've been getting back a lot of errors, and a lot of things were promised that couldn't actually be delivered. I refuse to send out anything that doesn't meet my standards, but its meant a few things had to be re ordered elsewhere, and a few things didn't pan out. The dual plating did not work out. The stained glass looks great but we had a whole batch that was electroplated the wrong colour. A lot of colours came back that don't look like the previews we were given. Everything is slowly being resolved, its just a lot of confusion on my end of things.

We decided to put in the remaining costs to unlock the orange Cyerce Elegans ourselves. I was on the fence but we got a better price for getting an extra colour done so we're going to go ahead. It won't be removed from carts and it is going into production.



One notebook add on was not funded, we removed it from everyone's carts. Another one I realised I actually already ordered, so I removed the funding goal. 

Orders have been locked, but if you have any issues you can always get in touch. We'll always do our best to fix them for you :). 

The first pins are due to arrive with us tomorrow, so keep an eye out for some previews ~

Just a quick one.

In a couple of days I'm going to be locking in orders for the pre order and add one stores. Pins are starting to come in, and I need the money to order the stickers and what not. We're looking to begin shipping at the end of May/early June, but there's still the potential for delays yet (we seem to be having a very difficult manufacturing run this time, probably because the designs are complicated). 

A couple of things didn't unlock. You won't be charged for those, but if you want to switch to different alternatives now's the best time.
